Do you dream of hosting your own gaming channel, announcing live tournaments, or creating hype content for Twitch and YouTube? The Stream Squad Camp puts you behind the mic and in front of the camera, helping you build the creative, technical, and storytelling skills you need to become a confident content creator.
Led by Bow Valley College's own Varsity team members and digital mentors, this hands-on camp walks you through the full process of streaming—from setup and scripting to recording, editing, and going live. No previous streaming experience needed!
What You’ll Learn:
•Streaming tools & overlays (OBS Studio, Twitch basics, Canva)
•Camera confidence & on-air presence
•Scriptwriting, storytelling, and show flow
•Editing YouTube highlights and creating hype reels
•Inclusive, positive community building for streamers
Capstone Project: Showcase your newfound skills by streaming the final matches of the Junior Varsity ESports Player Camp teams Bonus: Campers earn content creator badges and take home their own highlight reel!
Campers should ideally:
•Feel comfortable speaking or presenting (on or off camera)
•Be able to navigate basic computer tools (typing, saving files, using browsers)
•Have experience with social media or video platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch — even just as a viewer)
•Show interest in storytelling, content creation, or graphic design
•Be curious about how media and branding work
This stream focuses on creative expression, safe online presence, and building confidence through content creation.
