This course builds skills to deliver critical care in rural and remote settings. Participants will learn to assess and stabilize patients, collaborate across teams, and use virtual health technologies—all while practicing culturally safe, patient-centered care.
This course builds skills to respond to mental health crises in rural acute care settings. Students will learn to apply clinical judgment, use trauma-informed communication, and connect patients with local or telehealth resources to ensure timely, culturally appropriate care.
